INTRODUCTION OF CENTER

In Jan, 2007, the university optimized and conformed the fundamental laboratory with rich resource and the speciality laboratory with obvious feature, and then organized the “Mechanical Engineering Experiment Centre” oriented to Multi-discipline, including Modern Manufacture Technique Integrated Experiment Centre, Vehicle Engineering Laboratory, Engineering Capability Training Centre, Science and Technology Base for Student Innovation, Mechanical Foundation and Material Engineering Laboratory, Measurement and Control Technique Laboratory. All these were for carrying through the main idea around the “requisition on constructing experiment teaching demonstration centre and its examination and comment ” from the Ministry of Education, for the principal of “concentrative construction, resource share”, for the core of cultivating the students’ engineering consciousness, innovative and engineering practical capability, for the tenet of improving teaching quality to acquire advanced talents with rich and complex capabilities, and for ensuring the teaching groups with high capability and the good experimental environment and condition. In Apr, 2007, the centre was appraised as the experiment teaching demonstration centre of Beijing Jiaotong University.
